The Mokuei coffee table is a table carved entirely from solid oak, where understated elegance blends with an almost surreal organic design. Every detail is handcrafted with great precision, thanks to a traditional mortise and tenon joint and blind dowels that guarantee strength and purity of form.
Its top has a natural linseed oil finish complemented by a protection ensuring better resistance to wear, water and heat. The underside of the top is oiled and stained in a “charcoal” color, overflowing onto the base and finishing in a subtle gradient.
This unique piece challenges the norms by boldly blending poetry and functionality, for a result that's as surprising as it is practical. Perfect for creating a sophisticated yet authentic interior, it will appeal to those who embrace an uncompromising "handmade" style.
Piece belonging to the Mokuei (木映) collection. This poetic name literally means “wood reflecting light” or “the image of wood.”

They do not seek uniform perfection but rather claim the authenticity, singularity and unique character of their undisguised irregularities, which have become aesthetic elements in their own right.
This non-industrialized approach reflects expert craftsmanship where raw aesthetics become a fundamental element of design, providing a warm and authentic ambiance that enriches any interior space.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
The workshop's creations do not require any special maintenance.
They are protected from humidity thanks to the careful application of finishing oil.
The oils, tinted or not, used by the workshop for finishing the wood are exclusively Rubio Monocoat oils.
These are single-coat wood oils that feature natural molecular bonding technology with wood fibers.
They are water-free, solvent-free, made from 100% natural ingredients and contain 0% VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
They offer ecological and durable wood protection.
Please note: Solid wood is a natural product that responds to changes in temperature and humidity by expanding and contracting. Variations in grain, color, and texture are inherent to this material and therefore potentially to be expected.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
The workshop strives to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible, subject to availability, and ensuring your items are on their way as soon as possible.
